These Terms govern your use of the Feanpay platform. Please read them carefully before using our service.
Feanpay is a financial technology platform that enables users to send money, buy airtime, purchase data bundles, and perform other financial transactions through WhatsApp using artificial intelligence. Feanpay operates under applicable Nigerian financial regulations and partners with licensed payment processors and financial institutions. By accessing or using Feanpay, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
To use Feanpay, you must: • Be at least 18 years of age • Be a resident of Nigeria or an authorised user of a Nigerian bank account • Have a valid WhatsApp account linked to a Nigerian phone number • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration • Not be prohibited by any applicable law from receiving or using our services By using Feanpay, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements.
Feanpay currently provides the following services via WhatsApp: • Peer-to-peer money transfers to any Nigerian bank account • Airtime top-ups for any Nigerian mobile network (MTN, Airtel, Glo, 9mobile) • Data bundle purchases for any Nigerian mobile network • Account balance enquiries • Transaction history and status updates We may add, modify, or discontinue services at any time. We will notify users of significant changes where reasonably practicable.
Your Feanpay account is personal to you. You are responsible for: • Keeping your transaction PIN confidential at all times • All transactions initiated from your WhatsApp account and verified with your PIN • Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account Feanpay will never ask for your PIN outside of the transaction confirmation flow. Do not share your PIN with anyone, including Feanpay staff.
When you initiate a transaction on Feanpay: • You must confirm the transaction by entering your PIN before it is processed • Once a transaction is confirmed and processed, it may be irreversible • You are solely responsible for verifying that recipient details (account number, bank, name) are correct before confirming • Feanpay is not liable for transfers made to incorrect account details provided by you • Transaction limits apply as set by our payment partners and applicable CBN regulations • We reserve the right to decline or reverse transactions that appear fraudulent, erroneous, or in violation of these Terms
Feanpay may charge fees for certain transactions. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed to you before you confirm a transaction. By confirming a transaction, you authorise Feanpay to deduct any stated fees from your account or transaction amount. We reserve the right to update our fee structure at any time. Updated fees will be communicated via our WhatsApp channel or website before taking effect.
You must not use Feanpay to: • Engage in money laundering, fraud, or any illegal financial activity • Transfer funds on behalf of a third party without their knowledge or consent • Circumvent any applicable law, regulation, or CBN directive • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or Feanpay staff • Introduce malicious code, bots, or scripts into our systems • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our platform Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension and reporting to relevant authorities.
All content, branding, technology, and materials on the Feanpay platform — including but not limited to the Feanpay name, logo, product features, and website design — are the intellectual property of Feanpay and are protected by applicable Nigerian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Feanpay shall not be liable for: • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our services • Losses arising from incorrect recipient details provided by you • Service interruptions caused by third-party payment processors, banks, or telecommunications providers • Losses resulting from unauthorised access to your account where you failed to keep your PIN secure Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the value of the transaction in dispute.
We strive to keep Feanpay available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or restrict access to our services for maintenance, security, or regulatory reasons. We will endeavour to notify you of planned downtime where possible.
You may stop using Feanpay at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Feanpay at our discretion if: • You violate these Terms • We are required to do so by law or regulation • We detect suspicious or fraudulent activity on your account Upon termination, any outstanding transaction obligations remain enforceable.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Feanpay after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
